In 2000/02 Adidas unveiled their first Finale Uefa Champions League ball featuring the now famous star motif. Now, ahead of the new season, Adidas have unveiled the new Finale 13 – official match ball for the UCL 2013/14 group stage.
Adidas often match the balls colourway with a host of other products – so don’t be surprised if we see this new Red/Silver/Black colourway featured on a pair of boots and GK gloves later on this season. The new ball will make it’s on pitch debut during the first round of Champions League group matches, which get underway on 17th September with the final at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on Saturday 24th May.
